This year marked the 50th running of the Lake Elsinore Grand Prix, the race so famously featured in motorcycling’s most iconic movie, On Any Sunday. It’s quite amazing really-A half century of racing through the countryside and streets of the So Cal town of Lake Elsinore. Though you aren’t going to bump into a young Malcom Smith, or a strangely familiar looking guy named Harvey Mushman these days, the Lake Elsinore GP is still an incredible race where you will find just about every kind of rider. A few are there to win, most are there to have fun. For the vintage folk, fun seemed to be the aim, and by the looks of it, fun was had.
